Adam Avil
Adam Avil (born 30 June 1970), is an Indian rock artist and the lead guitarist, founder, songwriter and lead vocalist of The INDIAN rock band Pralay. The band, formed in the early 90's was previously called Greek; its members included: Adam's younger brother Eddie Avil, Luke Kenny, Joy Dattagupta, Ulysses Veyra, Brian Soans and Victor Soans. The band was ACTIVE for a decade.
Career
They had a short tour in Almaty, Kazakastan in 1997 and gave a performance on the local channel TAN TV, singing with Sonic Wave, their debut album Urban Reality getting shortlisted for the 2003 Grammies in the world music category.
A film AbOUT the band was made by Anurag Kashapy, titled Paanch.
Avilm has also composed a theme song for Umang, an annual festival at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics. The band is recording the New album (as of January 2013) and planning an international tour with American artists.
