AceProject (Software)
AceProject is a web-based project management software, owned by Websystems, Inc. The company is based in Quebec City, Canada. The product's interface is available in two languages: English and French. The product is a SaaS (software-as-a-service). It is also available as an in-house deployable version named Intranet Package.
Launch/History
The product was initially launched as FreeTaskManager in 2001. FreeTaskManager was a simple task management tool and Daniel Raymond, the creator, decided to push the product several steps further. Time tracking was added to the product, followed by project management. After becoming more than a simple task manager, FreeTaskManager was renamed AceProject on March 1, 2003. They released a mobile version of their product on Dec 6, 2010.
