History

The company was founded in 2025 with the aim of tackling the due diligence process in the private market. The CEO, Winnicent Zuo, states that: "Acephalt’s data revolves around a multi-agent AI pipeline designed to replicate and accelerate the diligence process traditionally performed manually by analysts and associates." All the founders from the start-up attended the University of Ottawa and all were part of their incubator program. The company was selected by the Next Canada accelerator in 2025 to join its portfolio. The company continues to raise funding in the Toronto area of approximately 700,000 USD according to Pitch-Book

The company is a sponsor of Toronto tech week in 2026 and is a featured company at Web Summit in 2026 as well.
