Abhishek S N

Abhishek S N ( born 13 February 1984) is a Music Director, Singer, screenwriter and Lyricist in the Kannada film industry. He also works as a Software Engineer with Cisco Systems. He has a lot of passion in the field of Nature Photography and Model Photography and has done a lot of photo shoots recently. His debut as a writer was the movie Yogaraj for which he was a co-writer. He also wrote Screenplay and Dialogs for the movie Ondu Roopayalli Eradu Preethi. His debut as a music director was his own music album Neralaagi, which he himself wrote, composed and produced. He has scored music for 2 feature films too till now, one in Tulu called Nirel and for a Kannada movie Gharshane. He has his own production house called abs productions in which he produced Neralaagi.

Personal and career

Abhishek was born and bought up at Bangalore. His mother is a classical singer. Abhishek was interested in arts since childhood. But he always gave first preference to his academic studies. He joined Lucent Technologies as a software engineer, soon after passing out of UVCE college with B.E degree in 2005. He later joined Cisco Systems in 2007. Abhishek married Shilpa, his love from college days, during 2008. He completed his post graduation from BITS, Pilani college, which earned him a M.S degree in software systems. His hidden interest in art came out in the form of blogging initially. He started a Kannada discussion forum website called [Maja Maadi] in 2008, which used to be a rare thing then. It went on to get 25000 registered users. He also started a non-commercial Kannada online live radio in 2009 with the same name, which had close to 90000 listeners all over the world. His continued blogging, gave him opportunities to work for few Kannada movies as a screenwriter. His passion to write poems also made him a lyricist. In 2012, Abhishek decided to get his talent of music composition and singing out by producing his own music album called Neralaagi, which was released in 2013 and later went on to become Kannada's biggest independent multi genre music album. His songs for the tulu movie [Nirel] were very well appreciated by the tulu crowd.(especially 'Serrnaga' song). His debut movie as a music director for background score in Kannada is [Gharshane]. His interest in photography has made him publish a lot of his photographs on the internet recently, which has got him a lot of appreciation in that too. He has been working on nature photography and Model photography offlate. Abhishek has been working on all his passions simultaneously along with his daily job as a software engineer.
