Abhijit Amkar

Abhijit Amkar is an Indian actor who primarily works in Marathi television and film industry. He known for his roles in films such as I Prem U, Takatak & Lagnacha Shot.

Early life

Amkar is from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at Aaryan High School, Girgaon, before pursuing higher education at K.C. College. He later earned a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree.

Personal life

Amkar is in a relationship with Marathi television actress Nakshatra Medhekar.

Career

Amkar began his acting career in 2015 with the Marathi television series Are Vedya Mana on Star Pravah. In 2016, he appeared in Tujhya Vachun Karmena on Colors Marathi, followed by a role in Naktichya Lagnala Yaycha Ha in 2017. He made his film debut with Ek Sangaychay... Unsaid Harmony, portraying the character of Kabir. Amkar also received appreciation for his lead role in the stage play Vikram Mohini Rajwade. He later gained wider recognition for playing Chomeshwar in the Marathi film Takatak, a performance noted for showcasing a different facet of his acting.

In 2023, he played the lead role in I Prem U. The following year, he starred as the lead in the television series Tu Hi Re Maza Mitwa. In 2025, he appeared in the film Satyabhama. In 2026, he played the lead role in the Marathi film Lagnacha Shot.
