ABC Bank is locally owned and managed, leveraging its grass roots experience to serve the social and economic needs of the communities it serves in the Chicagoland area, as it has for the past 123 years. ABC Bank offers a full suite of products and services to help its customers reach their personal or business goals. Branches are located in Chicago, Bensenville, and a mortgage division in Hinsdale.
History
ABC Bank was incorporated in 1891 as Austin State Bank by the Castle Brothers. In 1987, Greater Chicago Financial Corp, a closely held nonpublic corporation, acquired Austin Bank of Chicago. After 25 years, Austin Bank of Chicago was re-branded to what is now known as ABC Bank. Today, ABC Bank has grown to 6 locations including a mortgage division and is committed to continuing its growth as a locally owned and managed community bank.
Community Involvement
ABC Bank is committed to building value for the communities by sponsoring community events and supporting local fundraisers that are sponsored by non-profit organizations. Sponsorship participation includes the contribution of funds, employees' time and corporate in-kind services. Consideration is given to activities that help improve the quality of life and well-being for the people of the communities.
