A.B.C. (acrobatic group)

A.B.C. (Acrobat Boys Club) is the acrobatic group under the Johnny's Entertainment label. They are a part of Johnny's Juniors.

History

In 1998, Goseki, Tatsumi, and Tsukada joined Johnny's Entertainment. In 1999, Kawai, Koshioka, and Totsuka joined Johnny's as well.

In 2001 the Acrobat Boys Club was created with five members: Totsuka, Kawai, Tsukada, Koshioka and Yudai. They were dancing in J-Support behind other Johnny's groups.

In 2002, Koshioka and Yudai left the group, their places went to Goseki Koichi. They both finished in FM Tokyo, backdancing for Arashi and Tackey & Tsubasa.

Later, Tohshin Yoshikazu's group ING Shinkoukei disbanded, and he was added to A.B.C. The Acrobat Boys Club became Tohshin Yoshikazu & A.B.C. Tohshin isn't an acrobat, but the other members consider him the 5th member of A.B.C.

In 2005, Tohshin left to pursue his own interests after a final performance with A.B.C.

In 2006, Totsuka was chosen to be a part of Kitty GYM with Tomohisa Yamashita (NEWS), Golf and Mike, Hikaru Yaotome (Ya-ya-yah), Kei Inoo (J.J. Express) and Hiromitsu Kitayama (Kis-My-Ft2).

In 2007 they made an impression with their original song Star Seeker. They did the choreography themselves.

Trivia

• A.B.C. boys are especially well known for their backflips, cartwheels, somersaults, dance skills, and other things such as backflipping off of raised platforms.
• Kawai Fumito is considered to be the best Acrobat in Johnny's.
• Goseki Koici appeared in the J-Friends music video for 'People of the World'.
• Totsuka Shota did a commercial for Coca Cola with V6's Inocchi, Takeuchi Kohtaro of M.A.D. and Kis-My-Ft2's Yokoo.
• Goseki Koichi did a commercial with some other Johnny's members, Ryo Nishikido and Shota Yasuda of Kanjani 8, for the 40th year of a sweets enterprise.
• Totsuka Shota was a part of Kitty GYM.
• A.B.C. members did the choregraphy for performances of their original song Star Seeker.
• Kawai Fumito is well known for his impersonations of Jun Matsumoto
