Aaron Johnson (musician)
Aaron Howard Johnson is a multi-platinum music producer. He has worked with acts such as The Fray, Meese, God or Julie, Cartel. His production credits include both Fray LP's How To Save A Life and the band's 2009 follow up (titled The Fray), due for release 2/3/2009. He also co-wrote the Fray's fourth single "All at Once" off of How To Save A Life.
Born Feb. 8th 1977 in Silverspring Maryland. Aaron grew up in Southern California, attending college at the California Institute Of The Arts in Valencia California. He resided in Denver Colorado from 1999 to 2001, after which he moved to New York City. In 2008 Aaron returned to Southern California. Aaron got his start "hanging out" at a studio in So Cal while still in High School. It would be there that he discovered his passions lied in making and recording music. His break came in a demo he produced, and recorded for the band "The Fray" called "Over My Head (Cable Car)". Aaron has since worked with The Fray producing 1 EP, 2LP's, and numerous "Extras and Exclusives".
Aaron has been tapped to produce the upcoming LP from Secondhand Serenade.
Aaron also has a well known filmmaker brother, Rian Johnson, who wrote and directed the films Brick and The Brothers Bloom.
