Aaron Harstad
Aaron Harstad (born 1992) is a defenseman playing for the Colorado College Tigers ice hockey team which competes in the NCAA Division I status. Harstad was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 7th round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Junior/high school
He was a member of the Green Bay Gamblers for the 2008-09, 2009â10, and the 2010-11 seasons. While with the Gamblers, Harstad helped the team win the league championship Clark Cup. Harstad completed his 3 season campaign with the Gamblers having played 108 games, scoring 9 goals with 20 assists.
NHL
Following 3 seasons with the Gamblers, Harstad was selected in the 7th round of the 2011 NHL entry draft. His team, the Winnipeg Jets, had just completed a move from Atlanta to Winnipeg.
College
Harstad began play for the Colorado College Tigers of the WCHA in the fall of 2011 for the 2011-12 campaign. While in his first season, Aaron played in 29 games with 6 assists and 27 penalty minutes.
