Aaron Ampudia
Aaron Ampudia (born September 6, 1992) is a Mexican-born racer and entrepreneur. Currently living in San Diego CA, he is the co-owner of Papas&Beer Club, Papas&Beer Racing, and sole owner of NINK Restaurant in Ensenada, Mexico.
Biography
Aaron Ampudia was born and raised in Ensenada, Mexico. At a young age, he chose to get involved with the family business endeavors. By the age of 22, he opened up his own bar/restaurant in Ensenada.
Aaron began racing when he was 19 years old with his two brothers, Rodrigo and Alan Ampudia. He is a two time SCORE International World Champion, winning in the Baja 1000, Baja 500, Baja 250, and a win at the Baja Sur 500 with Papas&Beer Racing.
Racing career
Aaron Ampudia began racing in 2011. His father, Rodrigo Ampudia Sr. and older brother were already in the racing scene, so ‘Ampudia’ wasn’t necessarily a new name on the block.
Being raised in the Baja California peninsula, Aaron Ampudia’s involvement with off-road racing started at an early age. His Father raced the SCORE Baja 500 and Baja 1000 back in the 1980’s.
Aaron Ampudia was recognized by SCORE International for riding the courses of Baja. He won first in his class (½ 1600) at the SCORE Baja 1000.
