Aapli Asha Bhosle
Aapli Asha Bhosle (Marathi for "Your Asha Bhosle") is a Marathi language concert performed by legendary Bollywood female playback singer Asha Bhosle. She hopes to perform the show in as many cities in Maharashtra as possible.
The concert format includes Asha Bhosle sharing fond memories AbOUT various Marathi songs, their lyricists, co-singers, music directors etc. followed by actual performance of that song.
The concert was first held amid heavy rains in Pune on 16 April 2007. The show was hosted by Sudhir Gadgil along with chief guest Nana Patekar. Co-singers were Hrishikesh Ranade and Jitendra Abhyankar.
Asha Bhosle sang some well known film songs, bhavgeeten, lavani, duets and natyasangeet.
