A Shpaschakia Pulscha

A Shpaschakia Pulscha is a card game in which 51 cards are dealt evenly among players, after which players race to complete four rows of cards and clear their hand of cards. A Shpaschakia Pulscha is not a turn based game - players are able to place a card down at any time. One game is usually completed very quickly.

Aim

The aim of the game is to have four rows of cards in face value order (Ace to King). The player who gets rid of their cards first wins the game.

Set Up

• Deal 51 cards face-down evenly among all players. The remaining card is placed face-down in the middle of the play area.
• The single card in the middle is the start card. When it is turned over, game play begins.

Game Play

• The start card begins a row. Players must place a card which is either one higher or one lower in face value next to the start card. If the card is higher, it must be placed to the right. If the card is lower, it must be placed to the left. This results in a row which ends up in perfect order.
• If someone has a card of the same face value as the start card, they may start a new row with that card. The same rules apply to The New row.
• Game continues until one player runs out of cards and yells "A Shpaschakia Pulscha!" to win.

Other Rules

• Anyone can place any card at any time; there are no turns involved.
• Suits (♠♣♥♦) are disregarded.
• Cards of the same face value cannot be placed more than one at a time.
• There are to be no duplicate cards in each row.
