A B Kovacs

AB Kovacs is a clinical researcher and works for the James Randi Educational Foundation as a Director of Operations.

History

Kovacs prefers to have her first name referred to as "AB"; however her husband, Peter Kovacs, wrote in a Chemistry Department Newsletter in 1997 from Southeast Missouri State University that she was born Amy B Stenson and that she graduated from that institution with a B.A. in Chemistry, during December 1994. In that same publication, it was revealed that Amy "AB" Kovacs (nee Stetson) had a varied career, having worked at a Blockbuster Video store until May 1995 in Saint Louis. They moved to Nashville for AbOUT a year, until Kovacs' husband's work took them to San Diego, California, where they currently lives in the city of La Jolla.

"AB" Kovacs' LinkedIn Profile lists her as currently working as a Project Director at the Premier Research Group in San Diego and that she previously worked as a Project Director at PRA International. Her research focuses on lifestyle drugs to treat things such as hayfever, erectile dysfunction and Parkinson's disease.

"AB" Kovacs is a blogger on the website Skepchick.org. She edited and featured in the Skepchick Calendar for 2009. On December 22, 2008, it was announced that she became the Director of Operations at the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF).
