59th Infantry Battalion (Cadre)
The 59th Infantry Battalion (Cadre), known officially as 59th Cadre Battalion, is one of the battalions of the Philippine Army, which is organic to the 202nd Infantry Brigade of the 2nd Infantry "Jungle Fighter" Division. It is an infantry unit, and is one of the CAFGU units of the Philippine Army.
The 59IB(C) specializes in Counter-insurgency Operations, Jungle warfare as well as CMO And Co-operations.
The unit is primarily composed of CAFGU militiamen supervised by Philippine Army Regular Commissioned Officers and Non-commissioned officers.
