The 501st Swiss Garrison

The Swiss Garrison, part of the worldwide 501st Legion was founded in December 1998 as the first Garrison in Europe, bringing the SAGA of STAR WARS & the Fun of wearing high quality STAR WARS Movie Costumes on Events, Charity Events in Children Hospitals and on many other occasions. Additionally, the Swiss Garrison was part of the Tournament of Roses 2007 in Pasadena, California, USA with a team of 4 Troopers, marching the Parade in Full Stormtrooper Costume. The 501st Swiss Garrison was part of the Promotion Tours for all STAR WARS Episodes 1 - 3, as well as for DVD Releases and other official events, which were organised by LucasFilm and 20th Century Fox in Switzerland.

Founded by the two Stormtroopers TK264 (Marc Baier) and TK269 (Pascal Biondi) in during Christmas December 1998, the Garrison was given a Logo which was used up to December 2006, when it was replaced by a new Design which is now in Use on all merchandise as well as on the webpage 1 .

The Garrison currently has 27 members, located in all parts of Switzerland. Additionally, the Swiss Garrison supports the Lake Squad, which covers the territory of italian speaking Switzerland as well as the very northern part of Italy.

Currently, the Swiss Garrison is led by its Commander, TK269 (Pascal Biondi) and his XO, TK0893 (Maya Mangold).
