The 2017 World Draughts Championship (in rapid and blitz) at the international draughts was held between 6–10 May 2017, in İzmir, Turkey, by International Draughts Federation (FMJD).

2017 Rapid World Draughts Championship

The rapid games were played on 7 May 2017 in swiss system, 9 rounds in total with a time control of 15 minutes plus 5 seconds per move, 19 players.
