2016 in Superkombat

The year 2016 is the 6th year in the history of the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship (SUPERKOMBAT), a kickboxing promotion based in Romania. The events are broadcasts through television agreements with Eurosport and other regional channels including in Canada and the United States.

Historic event of kickboxing

It was again held outdoors and broke the European attendance record, garnering an astounding 34,000 people. The previous record was set over nine years ago at the Amsterdam Arena in the Netherlands during the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 in Amsterdam. This record attendance eclipsed the previous record for a kickboxing event in Europe by nearly 9,000.
