2013 Oahu Interscholastic Association Football Season
The 2013 OIA Football Season will be the 73rd HHSAA football season for the Oahu Interscholastic Association. Comprising 23 member schools, the season will start in August 2012 and will end with the HHSAA State Championship Game in November.
Previous Season
The 2012 OIA Champions were the Kahuku High School Red Raiders (6-0; 12-0) for the OIA-Red and the Radford High School Rams (7-1; 11-2) for the OIA White.
In the post season HHSAA Championship, Kahuku went on to beat the Punahou Buffnblu of the ILH to win the 2012 HHSAA State Division I Championship for the second year in a row. Radford lost to the eventual Division II Champions Iolani Raiders (ILH) in the semi-final round.
Division Realignment
Every 2 years, the Oahu Interscholastic Association realigns football teams based on 2-year performance. However 2 schools who previously realigned in 2012 opted to realign this year. Following a dominant performance in 2012, Kaiser High School is set to replace winless Kaimuki High School in the OIA Red-East.
