2012–13 Sheffield F.C. season
During the 2012-13 season, the oldest football club in the world, Sheffield F.C., will compete in: the 2012-13 Northern Premier League Division One South, the FA Cup and the FA Trophy. After reaching the play-offs the previous season, Sheffield F.C. will be aiming to go one better and achieve promotion to the Northern Premier League. Sheffield F.C.'s pre-season kicked-off at the beginning of July, while their league campaign is due to start on Saturday 18 August, slightly later than usual due to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Sheffield F.C. enter the FA Cup at the Preliminary Round stage on 25 August, and the FA Trophy Preliminary Round on the 15 September 2012.
