The Red Raiders competed on behalf of Kahuku High School in the Red-East Division of the Oahu Interscholastic Association during the 2011 HHSAA Football Season. Headcoach Reggie Torres was in his 6th season with the Red Raiders. Kahuku plays their home games at Carleton Weimer Field in Kahuku, Hawaii.
Kahuku ended the 2011 season winning both the OIA-Red Championship and the HHSAA Division I State Championship. They were ranked #1 in the state and #96 in the nation.
Previous Season
In the 2010 season, the Kahuku Red Raiders went into the OIA championship undefeated and ranked #1 in both the OIA and the State. However, after an investigation into Kahuku's use of an ineligible player, the OIA and HHSAA stripped Kahuku of the chance at an OIA title. Kahuku was also barred from the HHSAA State Tournament and was forced to forfeit all their regular season wins.
