2009–10 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam season

For the 2009-10 season, the 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam are participating in the German women's Bundesliga. It is their 17th season in Germany's major league in women's football. Turbine is the reigning German women's football champion and they will participate in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time in three year.

Cup

Potsdam received a bye for the first round of the German cup. They entered the competition with a 7-0 home win against second division side Oldesloe and beat fellow second division side Holstein Kiel in the Round of 16 with the same result. Turbine gained a semi-final spot by beating their arch rivals 1. FFC Frankfurt with a 3-0 quarter final home win. However, the team was eliminated by a 1-0 away defeat against FCR 2001 Duisburg.

Champions League

Turbine received an automatic berth in the Round of 32. They thrashed FC Honka of Finland in the first round with an aggregate score of 16-1 in the round of 32. Turbine then beat Brøndby IF from Denmark 5-0 on aggregate in the round of 16. The opponent in the quarter-finals is Røa IL from Norway.
