2008 Mid Continental Football League season
The 2008 Mid Continental Football League season is the 18th season of the Mid Continental Football League. The regular season will begin play sometime in July.
On January 27, 2008, the team owners and league officials conducted a meeting in Fort Wayne, Indiana to discuss the status of the league for 2008. The meeting will disscuss the possible expansion of the league, the 2008 All-Star game format, and wrap up previous matters from 2007.
The Cleveland Lions will not play in 2008, taking a one year leave of absence.
The West Michigan Force have joined the United States Football Alliance for 2008.
The Central Kentucky Studs were admitted to the MCFL by the Expansion Committee on February 24, 2008 by a vote of 5-4. They are currently the only team admitted for the 2008 Season.
