Wild fresney (or Wild Fresney) is an edible weed in C. S. Lewis’ fantasy world of Narnia. Jill Pole and Eustace Scrubb eat wild fresney when they prepare a stew with others in the novel The Last Battle. The plant is said to look like wood sorrel, but to be much superior in taste; wild fresney requires butter and pepper to achieve culinary perfection.
