Millia Institute of Technology is very first engineering college in the Seemanchal Region established in 2002 by Millia Educational Trust (MET). It is affiliated to Purnea University, approved by AICTE, Delhi. The founder principal of this college was late Prof S.C Roy (Ex HOD MIT Muzaffarpur). Initially this college started with a small library, a main building and four core branches Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science. Civil Engineering was added in 2007.
There is also a polytechnic college running under Millia Educational Trust.
Sportklub Liet was a football club from Zemun (nowadays Serbia). Local Germans from Zemun and other parts of Syrmia gathered around this club.
Cooperation for a Green Future is a non-profit foundation in the Republic of Georgia working to identify and assess environmental problems, and develop and implement innovative solutions.
Their work focuses on environmental issues within the context of physical and social processes and structures. The organization seeks to create and spread within the Georgian public a common vision for a socially progressive and ecologically sustainable society, identify potential pathways toward realizing this vision, and implement specific projects and tasks in this direction. Currently, the organization conducts projects to mitigate the effects of lead pollution, to encourage the use of public transport, and to facilitate the implementation of industrial ecology practices in Georgia.
The Colorado Tribune, also known as Daily and Weekly Colorado Tribune, was a newspaper published in Denver, Colorado from 15 May 1867 to 19 January 1871. It was the successor to the Denver Daily, published from 5 February to 14 May 1867, and it was succeeded by the Denver Daily Tribune, which continued through a series of name changes, eventually becoming the Denver Republican, which merged in 1913 with the Rocky Mountain News. An 1868 advertisement claimed the Daily Colorado Tribune was "the largest daily newspaper published between the Missouri River and California."
