Exim Bank (full name: The Export-Import Bank of India) is an Indian government-owned financial institution for the public sector created by and Act of the Parliament of India: the Export-Import Bank of India Act 1981.
Exim Bank is managed by a Board of Directors, which has representatives from the Government, Reserve Bank of India, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) of India, a financial institution, public sector banks, and the business community.
The Bank's functions are segmented into several operating groups including:
Corporate Banking Group which handles a vairety of financing programmes for Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Importers, and overseas investment by Indian companies.
Project Finance / Trade Finance Group handles the entire range of export credit services such as supplier's credit, pre-shipment credit, buyer's credit, finance for export of projects & consultancy services, guarantees, forfaiting etc.
Lines of Credit Group Lines of Credit (LOC) is a financing mechanism that provides a safe mode of non-recourse financing option to Indian exporters, especially to SMEs, and serves as an effective market entry tool.
Agri Business Group, to spearhead the initiative to promote and support Agri-exports. The Group handles projects and export transactions in the agricultural sector for financing.
Small and Medium Enterprises Group to the specific financing requirements of export oriented SMEs. The group handles credit proposals from SMEs under various lending programmes of the Bank.
Export Services Group offers variety of advisory and value-added information services aimed at investment promotion
Fee based Export Marketing Services Bank offers assistance to Indian companies, to enable them establish their products in overseas markets.
Besides these, the Support Services groups, which include: Research & Planning, Corporate Finance, Loan Recovery, Internal Audit, Management Information Services, Information Technology, Legal, Human Resources Management and Corporate Affairs.

Vidal Colmenares was born on February 14, 1952 in Caño de Indio, a neighborhood in Barinas, deep inside the llanos.
When he was 15 years old, started to sing parrandas llaneras in his home town. He recorded his first album at age 25, including two pasajes llaneros: his Mujer ambiciosa (Ambitious woman) and Amor Indolente (Indolent love), lyrics written by him and music made by Sergio Aranguren, a harpist who accompanied him. He became known thanks to La voz de Apure, a broadcasting station from San Fernando de Apure, where there was a show sponsored by Almacenes El Topacio, and conducted by Freddy Ibañez in 1977.
He obtained the second place in the San Martin Festival in Colombia, with a new golpe (including his lyrics); and was the winner of a local festival in Papelón, a town in Portuguesa, Venezuela, with other of his compositions, in 1994. He was elected as president of the Festival Internacional de Música llanera El Silbón in 1998, and as permanent member of the organizing board of the fundation that manages the festival, has been Director of Culture of the Municipality of Guanarito, Portuguesa state. He is living Patrimony of Guanarito (thanks to a decree from the Municipality), the town where he lives.
He stars as Florentino in the play of Venezuelan poet Alberto Arvelo Torrealba: La Leyenda de Florentino y el Diablo (The legend of Florentino and the Devil). He has travel around the country, and visited Colombia and Cuba with this play. Colmenares has been in Spain: Seville Expo '92, Tenerife, Madrid, Barcelona and Vigo. He has been in Chicago, Champaign, Illinois, Saint Vincent, Curacao, Aruba, Port of Spain, and French Guyana; in the Cultural Festival of the Unesco in Quito (Ecuador), and Medellín (Colombia).
Rei Munakata, Conductor
Rei Munakata (February 4 1976) has worked with Sundsvall Chamber Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Hradec Kralove Philharmonics, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Sinfonietta, and many amateur orchestras in Europe. During the summers, Rei has conducted in Ung Nordiska Musik Festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Euphonia New Music Festival, and Stockholm New Music Festival. In 2003, Rei won the first prize for Young Conductor's Competition in Havant, UK, and was granted the Bob Harding Bursary to work with Havant Symphony Orchestra during 2003-2004 season.
Rei is currently the principal conductor of Curious Chamber Players, a Stockholm based group specializing in contemporary music, and has made numerous world premiere performances. At home in recording studios, Rei participated in world-premiere recording of Axel Englund's ¨Miserere¨, a chamber ensemble work based on a poem by Christine Falkenland, in 2004. He has worked with Sweden's most famous pop-singer, Carola Häggqvist, and her production group for the recording of CD ¨Show¨ in 2001.
Rei Munakata was born in Yokohama, Japan, and was raised in both Japan and China as his home countries. In recent years, his home has been USA and Sweden. He started his conducting study with Michael Adelson at Connecticut College, USA, and continued with Cecilia Rydinger-Alin and Per Andersberg at Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm (Royal College of Music, Stockholm), Sweden. He received the Full-Fee Scholarship Award from Trinity College of Music in London to attend Peter Stark's Postgraduate Diploma Conducting Course in 2002, and was granted the Ricordi Prize in Conducting in 2003. His other influential teachers have been Mark Wigglesworth, Christian Eggen, and Frantisek Vaijar.
Rei Munakata, Composer
Rei Munakata has written music for solo instruments, chamber music, orchestra, and electronics. Rei has participated and his music was performed at Siren Festival and Euphonia New Music Festival. The piano trio, The Mocking Maze, was selected to represent Sweden for UNM Festival in Helsinki 2005.
Rei Munakata's music has been performed by Gaggego!, Curious Chamber Players, Connecticut College Chamber Players, Havant Symphony Orchestra, Cajsa Hugosson, Anna Christensson, and many other musicians and ensembles.
Rei Munakata started his composition study with Noel Zahler during 1997-1999 in New London, Connecticut. In 2003, Rei resumed his study with Ole Lützow-Holm at Musikhögskolan vid Göteborgs Universitet.
