Matthew E. Ammon is an American governmental official who serves as director of the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes in the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. He was acting United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the second Trump administration from January 20, 2025, to February 5, 2025, having previously served in the same role for the Biden administration from January to March 2021. Ammon served an interim capacity until Biden's nominee, Marcia Fudge, was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 10, 2021.

Hershel Daniel McCants Jr. (April 2, 1973 – February 18, 2007) was an American soldier in the United States Army and special operations helicopter pilot. A veteran of the 1st Special Forces Group and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, he was killed in action in 2007 during Operation Enduring Freedom when a MH-47E Chinook helicopter that he was co-piloting crashed due to a sudden power loss in Zabul province, Afghanistan. He was posthumously awarded the Air Medal and Meritorious Service Medal (United States).
