Matthew Boleslaw Koziol (born c1896) was a Polish-Canadian boxer most famous for the winning lightweight title of Paddel Netret.
Early life
Koziol was born to Gregorz and Francessca Koziol in Montreal although he was of full Polish heritage. Koziol left school at age 12 after his father decided that they move to Czechoslovakia. Koziol did not return to school as his father discovered his talent for boxing.
Career
At 5'7 and weighing 78kg he was perfectly suited for the lightweight category. Although he had a alck of experience in only his 56 professional match he had a shock win over Paddel Netret in the lightweight final and immediately retired as he quoted "undefeated in 56 matches and never losing the title" which in fact happened. Koziol moved to his homeland of Canada and presumably died there.
Paddel Netret
Koziol entered the tournament as a dark horse. He had won 50 conecutive matches but mainly against non-professionals and fellow newcomers. After winning the qualifying match against Inzam-ibn-bilal Koziol progressed to the second round where he beat of 8th seed Graham Harkingot. 3 matches passed with Koziol as the victor, before he met number one seed Paddel Netret. Before the match he famously quoted To glory to God. Napshaw!. After 2 hours Koziol emerged vicor and he gave his winning speech as I quit. Koziol never fought again and in doing so was never defeated.
Trivia
*His great-great-great-great grandson is still of full Polish heritage but was also born in Canada.
*Legend has it he invented the very first candy floss machine during his retirement.

Club Peugeot UK is the official factory supported owners club for Peugeots. Started in 1981 by a small group of Peugeot enthusiasts it has grown over the years as the Peugeot brand has become more common on British roads.
Initially the club catered primarily for owners of the traditional classic Peugeots such as the 504 and 304 cabriolets and coupé models. The club has since evolved to cover every model of Peugeot made and has members with both vintage models - a 1903 Bebe and current cars - a 407 SW.
The club is supported but not linked to the Peugeot Car Company in the UK.
