Twisted Complex: A Ballad of Two Fractured Humans is a self-published novel by the young author Elias Blondeau. It currently is being circulated via small Atlanta bookstores and various conventions. A screenplay is also in development.

The story of Twisted Complex revolves around fifteen year-old teenager Leon Rockbell, who begins to slowly go insane as he falls for a ten year-old named Madalaine Winger. This taboo relationship is set against the backdrop of
a killing spree at the hands of the Crimson Rose Killer, a child-killer plaguing Atlanta. However, all is not as it seems,
and as the hunt for the killer deepens, eyes begin to fall on those living locally, especially people who were close
to the murdered children. The atmosphere of the novel changes when it hits it's second part, titled "Death".
The suspense intensifies as police, detectives and bounty hunters begin to swarm the small community where Leon and Madalaine
live, making it hard for their relationship to continue.

Heart of the Valley Homebrewers (HOTV) is a non-Profit, charitable organization devoted to the advancement of education and science for public benefit. Heart of the Valley Homebrewers raises monies for other charitable organizations and/or scholarship funds. Heart of the Valley Homebrewers is an American Homebrewers Association (AHA) registered homebrew club based in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Heart of the Valley Homebrewers also host the Pacific Northwest's oldest homebrew competition every year, the Oregon Homebrew Festival.

The Heart of the Valley Homebrewers are the host of the Annual Oregon Homebrew Festival, the longest running Homebrew Competition in the Pacific Northwest. Started in 1982, the event is held in May each year. The main focus of the event is the judging of home brewed beer. The competition is sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) and the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP), using BJCP Style Guidelines.
SeptemBeer Fest
Heart of the Valley Homebrewers decided in 2007, after 25 years, to split up the competition and the charitable fund-raising festival, into two separate functionsl. There now is a Homebrew Competition & Festival in May and a fundraiser for charities named SeptemBeer Fest that occurs in the fall. Past charities that benefited from the event are Linn Benton Food Share, the regional food bank for Linn and Benton counties, along with Start Making a Reader Today, an early literacy program and a scholarship fund for the Oregon State University Fermentation Sciences Program.

Heart of ther Valley Homebrewers is registered in the State of Oregon as a Non-Profit Organization. It is currently in the process of optaining 501(C)(3)
