twinsplay is a desktop window and session manager for Microsoft Windows systems. It allows the user to organize his/her desktop by tiling windows side-by-side, and saving/loading entire multiple-window sessions.
twinsplay is positioned as productivity tool, targeted at power users. It provides the functionality of a tiling window manager, a virtual desktop manager and a session manager for the desktop.
Features
The application runs in background, and appears in system tray.
To order windows to the left or the right of the screen, the user may either middle-click on the window title or use keyboard shortcuts. Another shortcut may be used to restore a window to its original size. This feature is mostly useful to owners of widescreen dislpays.
Same middle-click menu enables sending windows to another virtual desktop. This functionality is reminiscent of the Mac OS X Spaces virtual desktop manager.
By clicking on the tray icon, the user may access the session management menu. It allows to save some or all of the currently open windows as a named "session", and later choose one of these sessions to restore the opened windows.
Another keyboard shortcut causes twinsplay to paste the current working directory of the user's file manager (Total Commander and windows explorer are supported)..
The software is closed-source, with a fully-functional trial version available from the manufacturer's website.
Known issues
In some cases, the sessions restored by twinsplay's session manager will differ from the original. For example, a Firefox window may open without the original internal tabs, which are managed by Firefox's own session manager.

Joshua James Banerjee, born 9th March 1993, is an English student and Economist, and an rising member of the Saltwater School of Economics.
Banerjee fist caught the attention of the accademic community when he was mentioned by Nobel Prize Winner in Economics, Paul Krugman -who called Banerjee 'one of the most promising neo-Keynesian Economists of our time- ,in the book The Nobel Laureates: How the Greatest Economic Minds of Our Time Shaped Modern Thought.
Further notice was taken of Banerjee, when he was quoted in the acclaimed book by Robert J Shiller: The Subprime Solution:
How Today's Global Financial Crisis Happened, and What to Do about It. Shiller claims that Banerjee's fantastic grasp of Applied Mathematics has enabled him to "cause even the greatest minds of our time to question their deepest held views on the so called "fundamentals" of Economic thought". This view was supported by Russian Mathematician Andrei Okounkov, who called Banerjee "the greatest genius since Laplace".
Banerjee, as of the second half of 2009 began work on a much anticipated paper entitled Ressurection of the Father: neo-Keynesianism. The title of the paper refers to the resurgence of Keynesianist economic thought in the wake of the 2008 Financial Crisis. The word "father" is used, as Keynesianist Economic thought was pioneered by the so called "father" of macroeconomics, John Maynard Keynes.
Joshua is as known supporter of the British Labour Party, and is widely understood to support the fiscal stimulus implemented by Gordon Brown during the 2008 Financial Crisis.
