Loud Online is a heavy metal and heavy rock webzine based in Sydney, Australia. The zine was launched to cover the spheres of heavy metal and heavy rock from every angle: up close, far away, from underneath.
History
Loud began as a program on community radio in 1995, expanded into a print zine later that year and was originally launched on the web in mid-1996. Over the intervening years, the zine and the site have come and gone - the zine took extended breaks between 1999 and 2001 and again between 2007 and 2009 and the original Loud website finally came to an end when GeoCities died, although the last time it was updated was 10 December 2007. Following a full-colour relaunch of the Loud zine in early 2009, it was finally decided in August 2010 to instead concentrate on the web and hence Loud Online was born.

This art technique was developed by Bob Coronato.
While trying to produce more work, Coronato had been experimenting on combining the 3 mediums for nearly 8 years. Coronato found a new way of combining his intaglio printmaking skills with his love of oil painting. The Pittura di strati medium of silkscreen, oil, and acrylic is the only way to achieve the effect that he was looking for. Coronato wanted to explore the age old tradition of silk-screen with the cutting edge techniques that are currently available along with the drawing and imagery from his etchings.
Coronato begins by texturing a board with thick gesso. Multiple layers of acrylic paint are applied, and on top of the acrylic goes the silk screened line work. Layers of translucent oil paint are slowly built up one layer at a time. Oil Paint has the ability to create fine glazes, transparent but slow to dry. As each layer builds up, they create effects of light and texture not possible with other painting techniques. This glazing technique is very similar to that of the artists of the Italian Renaissance, giving the paint a luminous quality that is not possible any other way.
In 2007 After attending hundreds of small town rodeos, Coronato was inspired to create rodeo posters in a vintage turn of the century style but using modern day imagery and techniques. using the unique pittura di strati technique, He began producing original rodeo poster paintings he has become most known for.

The Hope Movement is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Erie, Pennsylvania that is distributing insecticide-treated mosquito nets to families in developing nations. The organization was founded in 2011 by Tyler Cook and Andrew Slane, philanthropists and bandmates.
Operations
The Hope Movement works on a one-for-one basis similar to TOMS Shoes. For every article of clothing the organization sells, an insecticide-treated mosquito net is provided to a family in need. The organization also directly accepts donations, of which 100% goes to purchasing mosquito nets for distribution. All operating costs are covered by the organization's clothing sales. The mosquito nets the Hope Movement provides are currently being distributed through a free health clinic in Pemba, Mozambique, that is operated by IRIS Ministries, a partner non-profit organization founded by Heidi Baker. As the organization grows, nets will be distributed to other facilities operated by IRIS Ministries.
The organization has three full-time staff members, one intern, and a host of volunteers that have become part of the movement.
