Joseph Salama (born ), is a lawyer, mediator, and philanthropist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Joseph Salama was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin immediately after his parents immigrated from Egypt. Before he was one, they moved to California, where he was raised. Salama earned BA degrees in Economics and Rhetoric from U.C. Berkeley in 1993, and a JD from Boston University School of Law in 1996. In 2008, Salama obtained his Mediation Certification from U.C. Berkeley.
On September 11, 2001, Mark Bingham, hero of Flight 93, was on his way out to be an usher in Salama's wedding when the flight was hijacked. This inspired Salama to dedicate his energy to helping save lives in honor of his lost friend. Salama began fundraising for Team In Training, becoming a mentor, and later a Captain. In 2003, Salama Co-Founded Team Bingham and led a group of first time marathoners, including Mark Bingham's 47 year-old mother Alice Hoagland, to finish the San Diego Rock 'N' Roll Marathon raising over $20,000 for a scholarship in Mark's name. In 2009, Salama was one of the first fundraising Captains for Team In Training, and helped raise over $300,000 for blood cancer research.
Salama currently maintains an active trial, litigation, and mediation practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, still runs marathons, practices choy li fut kung fu, and sky dives when he finds time.

El Morocco is Montreal's oldest Kosher restaurant, having opened its doors in 1977. It is located at 3450 Drummond, Montreal, in the heart of downtown Montreal. It remains today one of the longest running Kosher establishments in the world. Their menu is typically Jewish Moroccan, although they have been known to serve the same steaks as their sister restaurant, Mortys Steakhouse. In fact, El Morocco is owned by the Abergel family, who also own and run the award winning restaurant steakhouse in Montreal, Mortys. The restaurant's Executive Chef is Esther Abergel.
Caterer
El Morocco is also one of Montreal's institutions. It's a well known caterer and is called upon to cater extravagant weddings, Bar Mitzvah and other Jewish celebrations. El Morocco also has a very large non-Jewish following who visit it because of its extraordinary food quality and presentation. It remains one of the city's few great Moroccan restaurants.
History
The restaurant was opened in 1977 in the center of downtown Montreal on Drummond, steps away from the popular Ritz Carlton Montreal hotel. It was originally owned by Gaby and Baruk Chetrit. However, after the sudden death of Baruk, they sold the restaurant to one of their long time employees, Esther Abergel. She has turned the restaurant around and it is once again a popular spot among locals and tourists.

Post-grade Regulation System in Argentina
The academic regulations in Argentina prescribe that all graduate courses must be accredited by the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation.
Such an entity stands as a public and decentralized body working under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education, Science and Technology. It is aimed at securing public faith by means of evaluation and accreditation systematic processes, and it is responsible for the institutional evaluation of all national, provincial and private universities and for submitting recommendations regarding new public universities´ institutional undertakings. Its role also involves requesting temporary and permanent authorizations from private higher education institutions.
Regarding graduate programs, the academic act sets out that the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation must provide all of them with accreditation, such graduate programs being as Especializaciones, Maestrías o Doctorados (Majors, Master´s or PhDs), by stating they fully agree with the standards set forth by the Ministry of Science and Technology together with the Universities Council.
The CONEAU also sets out that private institutions must secure the existence of inner institutional evaluation mechanisms, complemented with external evaluations, which shall be regularly conducted at least every six years, within the framework of the objectives set forth by each institution.
External evaluations are carried out by the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation) or private entities created to that effect, together with the participation of highly competent academic peers.
Likewise, the Argentine Higher Education institutions voluntarily provide accreditation to some of their courses of studies which are externally evaluated by renowned international entities in order to maintain high quality standards and improve the academic services they render.

Functional temporalism is an anthropological theory drawing prominently from the functionalistic and postmodern schools of thought first discussed by Clifford Geertz. It is also heavily indebted to the symbolistic tradition in sociolinguistics.
The theory ostensibly deals with the functional aspects of more traditional temporalism. Functional temporalists maintain that such paradigms are consistently overlooked by mainstream academics and that this greatly affects the interpretation of cultural articulations in an exceedingly pejorative sense.
With increased pragmatism in academic ethnographic work, however, the social other is able to attain a more post-idealistic status in the cultural hierarchy. This should empower her to achieve a kind of social solipsism not precedented even by late-twentieth century Marxist methods of inquiry.
Criticism
Some critics of this school of thought have argued that though there were flaws in pre-naturalistic sociological theories, these flaws are better compensated for in more recent theories which deal with interpretative analyses in a more deontological sense. Functional temporalism, on the other hand, is decidedly teleological in its disdain for feminist ideologies. Many advocates of the theory do admit the exceedingly teleological outlook of functional temporalism is a weakness.
