Mission
Scientific Peer Advisory and Review Services (SPARS) is a division of the non-profit entity, American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS), which is dedicated to biological research and education. SPARS is focused on the objective evaluation of potential research grant applications, ongoing medical research programs, and progress reports for numerous granting agencies, foundations, and research institutes; addressing advances in basic biology, clinical medicine, technology, and wildlife and environmental concerns.

Performing peer review and related scientific services since 1963, AIBS SPARS is one of the longest-serving independent scientific review service provider in the nation. The staff at AIBS SPARS consists of scientists, administrators, IT professionals, writers, and editors.
Peer Review Processes
SPARS works with the scientific community to match eminent, relevant scientists to highly specialized biomedical research applications. Reviewers are vetted for conflicts of interest and confidentiality is ensured to maintain the fidelity of the process. Processes include: developing request for proposals (RFPs), developing proposal receipt and tracking mechanisms, establishing review procedures, orchestrating online reviews, meetings, and teleconferences and delivering edited critiques. Many types of reviews have been implemented, including: consortia development, training and education programs, innovation awards, technology development awards, basic science and clinical trial awards.

Tim Riedel (born December 9th, 1978) is a Canadian musician and television producer. He has been involved in variety of projects within the entertainment industry but is most prominently known as the founder of the Canadian independent rock band Sylmarillion, and later as the lead singer of the group Falling Forward.
Television career
After receiving a diploma in radio and television Broadcasting, Riedel took on the role of producer for the children’s multimedia entertainment company KidsWebTv.
In addition to his role as producer, head writer and director, Riedel also voiced several characters for KidsWebTv’s flagship series Eddy Unleashed. The program first aired in 1998 on the Global Network in Canada then later expanded its broadcast footprint to include YTV (Canada), Teletoon (Canada), TV3 (UK) and TV3 (New Zealand).
Musical career
Riedel first appeared in the Canadian music scene with Sylmarillion’s self-released EP in 1998. The album featured three songs written by Riedel: "Just One", "My Way" and "Hyde", all of which would reach the top of Canadian university charts by the end of 1998. Riedel recorded another album with Sylmarillion in 2003. This album caught the attention of marketing executives at the Labatt Brewing Company who signed the band to promote their Budweiser branded beer.
Tim Riedel spent much of 2004 and 2005 touring with Sylmarillion as part of the Bud True Music campaign which provided mainstream radio and television exposure. This tour garnered Sylmarillion their most commercial success to date.
In 2006 Sylmarillion disbanded, prompting Tim Riedel to leave his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and move to Vancouver to form the band Falling Forward with former Sylmarillion guitarist Danny McKenzie. Tim Riedel released two albums with the band Falling Forward under the S.Y.L. Records label.

Amir: The Film is a 2011 amateur horror film featuring the protagonist Amir as he rescues his friends from a zombie ravaged college.

Synopsis
A young boy (Amir) comes to college one morning as usual, this time though a virus has ravaged the college overnight and tuned most of the pupils and teachers into flesh-eating zombies. Amir must fight through the college to rescue his friends who have barricaded themselves in their classroom, as well as fighting through the various hordes of student-teacher undead. In the end Amir must fight an advanced form of the virus hosted in his once friend Ben.
Amir must overcome his emotions, to save himself - and the day.

Marcus Harris, better known by his stage name MH the Verb, is an American emcee, DJ, producer and social activist based in Philadelphia, PA. After forming the organic Hip Hop fusion band, the BNVz, while a student at the University of Pittsburgh, Harris eventually gained recognition as a solo artist with his 2005 debut CD "We Blowin' Up", becoming one of the East Coast's top crossover artists that fused the genres of jazz, electro-pop and hip hop to create what is known as "New School Soul". In 2010, he founded the social media youth movement, BuildorDestroy. Since then, he has shared stages with Kid CuDi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the Roots, and many others. He continues to tour venues across the country, promoting his most recent album series "Cult Classics: Volume 1" and supporting organizations such as Liberty in North Korea and Barrios Unidos.
