Days of Rae (also known as DOR) is an alternative rock band. The band formed in 2007 having "Cherie Cobbs" be the lead singer and was a solo artist at the time. It started off from a "songs from scratch" entry for recording a song and entering the song from songs from scratch. She then started to write more songs. Then her husband, "Shon Cobbs", formed together as a band under the name, "Etana". In May 2008, they changed their name to, "Days of Rae", because the name has been taken by a Reggae Star named Etana. In July 2008, there was another songs from scratch entry. The band needed a drummer and lead guitarist in the band, which added, Ryan and Clint. Thier entry was picked on the Minnesota Public Radio. They played their first show on September 6, 2008. In which they felt nervous at first until on stage. As the days come by, they feel like they have a lot of rock in them than they used to.

Jane started out originally as a "show caster" but converted to a lifecasting format which involves less interaction and more broadcast time. In May 2008 she began a video blog through YouTube.
A marketing major , she teaches piano and is a published poet. A self-confessed Woot addict , Jane is currently employed at Starbucks as a barista and learning coach she has been working there since January 2008 . Show casting
Active in music throughout her youth, Jane sometimes plays the piano and clarinet or sings while broadcasting, and her singing has proved popular, solo or in duets with others, including Arnaud from Paris, Dennis aka Kioken , Magic Rich and singer/songwriter Jon Valenti. Jane features sessions of Hangman and trivia , and in April 2008 she made a tribute video to the Fr Eckle Studios sensation Daft Punk hands.
Lifecasting
Jane started broadcasting after a friend introduced her to the concept. She uses her three computers (Dell Dimension 3100 desktop, Dell Vostro 1400 laptop, Sony Vaio) and a variety of programs, including WebCamMax and iTunes , to liven her broadcast stream. Two cameras (Logitech QuickCam IM, Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000) provide a surveillance camera-type view with one camera pointed at the desk chair and the other pointed at the rest of her bedroom. During the Hangman games, she aims one camera at herself and the other at the Hangman board while keeping score on a scrolling banner.
She uses her laptop to go mobile around her house. She will go outside and entertain viewers by playing with her dog, Bobay, a three-year-old Labrador-Doberman mix. During sessions, Jane will play her piano, eat, wash her car, cook food, dance, play with her airsoft guns and watch movies. In July 2008 Jane passed half a million views on her Justin.tv feed.
Her catch phrase, "Badded!!", meaning "banned from a chat room", came from a moderator who accidentally coined the word "badded!" instead of "banned!" after banning a screenname from the chat room. Jane started using the word regularly, and it is now in usage on justin.tv.
Fans of Jane are referred to as "Janeiacs".
