Dai Ling Ping is a fictional character portrayed by Welsh Actor and Comedian Mr LBX. He first appeared on YouTube where he makes comedy related gaming videos. He has recently started recording live footage.
Origin of Character
Whilst making a gaming video for his channel Mr LBX was messing around with a voice changer whilst getting ready to record and then once a video had been uploaded to the channel the audience that LBX/Dai drew found the voice to be humorous and since then the character stayed with people and became one of the most talked about names in Wales, even now Dai Ling Ping sits on the List of people from Swansea among the famous names on the list such as Rob Brydon.
Other Characters
Mr LBX being an Actor and Comedian has created a vast majority of characters, other than Dai, that can be found on his YouTube channel, these characters are Kraven MoreHead (an American radio presenter), Geezah ( an unemployed adult from the suburbs), Kashyk (a gentleman who seems to have a Borat presence), Gwilym (an elderly gentleman similar to Windsor Davies and he used to sing with Elvis).
Content
As well as the gaming videos on his channel Dai also makes other content such as parodies of songs, one of the most popular parodies Dai has made is the parody of Gangnam Style which Dai has renamed to "Ling Ping Style." Other content Dai has released is parodies of television shows or commercials, such as the iPhone commercial. Dai has also done live recordings of him reading a story, called The Little Stinker, a created talk show where Dai interviews special guests, the latest guest he interviewed was Darth Vader. Other content uploaded the MRLBXv2 YouTube channel are videos where Mr LBX himself will be singing songs, one song he sang was In A Dream. Finally other clips uploaded the channel are clips that Mr LBX has gathered together and created a news show with his two characters Dai Ling Ping and Kraven MoreHead this show is called Dai and Kraven's World News.
Associated Channels
Being on YouTube Dai has been working/involved/managing several channels, to name them would be the following: His own channel MRLBXv2, his community clips channel CodCamHD, run by himself and Nort, another channel Dai is part of is the group channel called TrollCamHD where he is associated with other YouTube users such as SopranoPictures, ThaTCPS and many more. As well as these channels Dai has 2 back up channels under the names of DaiLingPingOfficial and MrLingPing.
Appearance
The original concept behind the character of Dai Ling Ping was Mr LBX, but over time the character has obtained different looks.
The first concept of the character has a cartoon feel, the picture of Dai here has a similar style to what the South Park characters look like. The picture of Dai shown here has a larger head in comparison with the body much like what South Park did with their characters.
Then when the meme started appearing more frequently the appearance of Dai Ling Ping changed into a version of the but still had the Dai look to it. In order to see the Dai look to the "Troll Face" as it is known, you will notice that the face has black balding hair that sticks out on the sides with the Goatee around the mouth, thus making the "Dai Ling Ping Troll Face."
Again the appearance was changed when more demands to see the character out and about. Mr LBX decided to get a mask created in order to do live appearances, two versions of the mask were made, as displayed to the right, recently Dai has opened up a diner in the Caerphilly store known as Yankee Doodles.

Saltoun Road is a road in Brixton, London that runs East-West from Windrush Square. Located near Brixton Underground Station it is a busy road for pedestrians during communiting hours. The road features a traditional late 19th Century terraced Victorian housing that was built to meet the demand of the influx from the countyside.
The Effra River used to cross Saltoun Road from South towards the Thames. The river now runs under the westernmost properties of the road.
Raleigh Hall is also situated at the West end of the road and adjancent to Windrush Square. It is a listed building and legend has it that Queen Elizabeth had her affair with Sir Walter Raleigh around the area when the land was mostly used for agricultural purposes. This however, is purely anecdotal.
As with the rest of Brixton, Saltoun Road hosts a highly diverse local community. Furthermore, the road has undergone a significant transformation from being a flashpoint for drug trafficking and prostition i the 1970s and 1980s, to a quiet residential street.

SID'80s, also known as Stuck in D'80s, is a retro Commodore 64 rock band playing covers for old Commodore 64 game music written in the 1980s but performed in their own particular style. The band was formed by Andreas Wallstrom and Chris Abbott, the driving force behind the Back in Time Live events and c64audio.com.
The unique thing about this band was that the original members lived in different countries around Europe, getting together on the day of a gig to rehearse and perform later that day. Because of echonomical reasons, members of the current version of the band all live in the United Kingdom.
The line-up has changed for virtually every performance, but the core of the band now consists of:
Ben Daglish - C64 game composer - flute, guitar, wind synth
Jon Hare - famous game designer - guitar
Mark Knight / madfiddler - current game composer/sound designer - electric violin
Jeremy Longley - game programmer - bass guitar
Playing along side them have been:
Andreas Wallstrom - demo scener and webmaster of c64.com - drums
Marcel Donne - remixer - keyboards
Reyn Ouwehand - demo scener and game music composer - bass guitar - keyboards
Matthew Cannon - game composer - keyboards
Among the band's regular repertoire are tunes by Rob Hubbard and Ben Daglish himself. Two medleys - Paperboy featuring Arcade Classics (by Mark Cooksey and Rob Hubbard), and The Way of the Exploding Fist featuring International Karate+ (by Neil Brennan and Rob Hubbard) - are also in the setlist.
The band can be found performing at various retro events both in the UK and Europe.
