K. Purushothama Kurup or K. P. Kurup is a politician and present municipal chairman of Paravur municipality in Kollam district, India. He is an active politician and 's Chathannoor area committee secretary. Now he is in his third turn as the municipal chairman of Paravur. He had also represented the opposition leader position in Paravur many times.

One of his recipe videos Mickey Mouse Mango Ice Cream was said to have been bought by Facebook for $2000.
Subsequently, he got media attention when, invited by Ellen DeGeneres, he became the youngest Indian to be in featured in The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Kicha made Kerala's traditional breakfast puttu for Ellen in the show. After the show, he got a new nickname "Puttu kutti".
Kicha was also invited by which showcases talented children from across the world. Kicha was the youngest Indian to feature on the show.
The Under 25 Summit Bangalore invited Kicha to attend in 2017.
