Her weapon is the "Artemis Rod," an extendable staff she received from Headmaster Cross.
Character Outline
Background
Yuki Kuran was born into the pure-blooded vampire Kuran family to be Kaname Kuran's wife, her existence was hidden from other vampires by her parents in an attempt to protect her. Ten years before the main events of Vampire Knight, her uncle Rido Kuran attacks her family and kills her father Haruka Kuran. After Kaname went outside to kill Rido, Yuki's mother Juri Kuran sacrifices her life to seal Yuki's vampire blood, powers, and memories. Afterwards, Yuki is lost in the snow and is about to be attacked by a level E vampire, Kaname shows up and kills the attacker, then takes Yuki to Kaien Cross, who adopts her. Yuki grew attached to Kaname, calling him Kaname-sama (or "Master Kaname" in the chuang-yi English manga)and developing a crush on him. 4 years prior to Vampire Knight, the headmaster takes in Zero Kiryu, who's family was killed by a pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio. She and Zero become close friends.
Personality
Yuki is cheerful and enthusiastic. She cares for those close to her and is willing to do anything she can to help them. Because she cannot remember anything prior to the event, Yuki views the day Kaname saved her life to be the beginning of her life. Yuki is quick to uphold the school rules and defend the students and loved ones, practically leaping into battle against hostiles, although she usually ends up not being much of a match for them or getting interrupted by Zero and others. Yuki takes her job as a school guardian very seriously, always ready to a wrestle crowd or two.
Plot
As the Heroine of the story, Yuki is party to most of the major happenings in the series. In volume one, Yuki finds out about Zero being a vampire, and afterwards lets him drink her blood. When Shizuka Hio, the pure-blooded vampire that killed Zero's parents, enters the story, Yuki finds out that if Zero drinks Shizuka's blood he can be saved from insanity. Upon learning this, Yuki tries to risk her life to allow Zero to drink Shizuka's blood but Kaname kills the other pure-blood to save Yuki. As the series progresses, Yuki learns more and more about vampires, Zero and the world she lives in and tries to remember her past. When Kaname asks her if she would want to become a vampire and "Spend eternity by his side", she is confused and cries which leads to a misunderstanding. When Yuki starts trying to remember her past, books with information about her past burn up when she opens them due to the spell set by her mother, Yuki also starts hallucinating, seeing blood everywhere. When Yuki asks Kaname about her past, he asks her again to become his lover, and says that that way Yuki won't hate him when he tells her of his past. In chapter 35, Kaname drinks her blood to awaken her vampire side and memories. Yuki later drinks Kaname's blood in chapter 36, she remembers more about her past and her dead parents, her sadness and confusion cause cracks to run along the walls, the windows to shatter and the curtains rip, showing her pure-blood power. Yuki then goes to visit Zero, who points a gun at her and shows that he no longer views her as a human or friend.

Burying your Brother in the Pavement is a vibrant and provocative new play exploring grief, family, love and growing up. Written by Jack Thorne, who has had recent success with his play's including; Stacy, Fanny and the Faggott, also his writing for E4's new teen cult drama Skins was a huge hit. Despite its serious subject matter, it is fresh and funny and contains song and dance and some sparkling theatricality.
The following is taken from the NT Connections website:
Tom’s brother is dead. He was killed by a broken bottle to the neck... This has upset a lot people..... it hasn’t upset Tom. Or, rather, it has upset him, but in ways he can’t explain and in ways his aunties - who keep trying to thrust snack products at him - would never understand. You see, Tom and his brother, Luke, were never friends, were never really much at all, I mean, Tom really didn’t like Luke, but without him…
So it’s an odd decision - to try and bury Luke in the pavement of the Tunstall Estate - to try and bury him at the point where he was brutally murdered - but, you know, it sort of makes sense. In a kind of upside-down, monkey-type way.
As he goes through due process on pavement burial, Tom comes across planning officials, tramps, undertakers, police officers, sisters, mothers, estate agents, ghosts, pavement elephants, sky dragons and a strange lad called Tight who wants to sell him a travel-card.
This is a play about grief, and looking at someone that little bit more closely - oh, and there are a few songs, bits of dancing, and lots of weird things involving sofas.
Malmesbury School in Wiltshire, England performed it on the 12th, 13th and 14th March 2008 and received great praise. They will be hopefully also performing it at the Theatre Royal in Bath at the beginning of May.
