The International Workshop on Transformation and Weaving Ontologies and Model Driven Engineering (MDE/MDA), or (TWOMDE), is a novel workshop that investigates the integration between OWL/RDFS ontologies and Model Driven Engineering (MDE) or Model Driven Architecture (MDA). The first TWOMDE workshop is held at MoDELS Conference in 2008 in Toulouse, France.
Scope
The interest in integrating Ontologies and Software Engineering has gained more attention with commercial and scientific initiatives. The Semantic Web Best Practice and Deployment Working Group (SWBPD) in W3C included a Software Engineering Task Force (SETF) to explore how Semantic Web and Software Engineering can cooperate. The Object Management Group (OMG) has an Ontology Platform Special Interest Group (PSIG) aiming at formalizing semantics in software by knowledge representation and related technologies. The concrete results of such initiatives are the specification of the OMG Ontology Definition Metamodel, the OWL 1.1 Metamodel, the introduction to Ontology Driven Architectures and a Semantic Web Primer for Object-Oriented Software Developers.
The workshop aims at discussing how scientific and technical results around OWL/RDFS ontologies can be used fruitfully in Model Driven Engineering (MDE) or Model Driven Architecture (MDA).
Topics
The following topics are to be investigated in the scope of this workshop:
* RDF metamodel repository
* Metamodeling support of semantic structures
* Reasoning over MOF-based models using OWL/RDFS ontologies
* Application of OWL/RDFS ontologies in model transformation
* Reasoning and query languages for integrated models
* Integration of modeling standards and metamodeling of ontology technologies
* Ontology driven software development: ontology support to web service orchestration
* MDE tools using OWL/RDFS ontologies
* Semantic support to Domain Specific Languages
* Ontology engineering with MDA/MDE techniques
* Ontology connectors to system models
* Application of OWL/RDFS ontologies in Traceability and Provenance

Episode 1 is the first in a trilogy that hopes to span across Half Life 2: Episode 1, towards Half-Life 2: Episode Three. C17, will be a host to many new features under the Source Engine, including the SE2 and in-built LUA for various graphical effects. C17 requires that the player, have Half Life 2, and the newly added Orange Box SDK Base. Episode 1 itself is set to be released In June of 2008, however the other episodes have not yet been determined.
Overview
City17: Episode 1 was created as an entirely different mod. With an entire different story-line and gameplay Ideas. Originally, the mod was to take place during the Time that Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance were trapped in a subspace after the Nova Prospekt Incident. The player was to be Gordon, and have Alyx by their side. However on April 15, 2006, the mod went through an entire makeover, and the was later restructured on May 20, 2006. That date being the official Start date for the Project. Gear, the development Team at that time was also created, with it's only member Cory De La Torre. So far, a [http://geardev.wordpress.com/ 80%] of the mod is completed. And is Nearing for Release date in June of 2008.
On October 6, 2006, The mod was re-built atop the newer version of the Source Engine, from HL2: EP1.
On July 9, 2007, The mod's name Changed from City17 to City17: Episode One. And then became part of a planned trilogy.
On January 24. 2008, The mod was then Re-built once more on the New Orange Box Engine, stated as SE2, for Source Engine 2
On March 20, 2008, A blog style Website was Launched on Blogspot as host. However a day later, the host changed to Wordpress, due to the lack of features of Blogspot.
On April 12, 2008, The Team began development on an Inbuilt LUA Engine and announced it to the public on April 20, 2008.

Storyline
The main story itself takes place much around the Half Life 2 Universe, and locations that are present in the Half Life 2 Series. The player, plays as a Rebel Citizen named Jack, that is tasked with the duty of clearing out much of the remaining Forces of the Combine, while at the same time, being tasked this to clear a safe path for other citizens to escape City 17 on a Train from the impending doom of the Citadel Destruction. The Chameleon Club is a gentleman's club at Cambridge University, sometimes called the Charm Club. The year of founding is usually given as 1723, when a collective group of undergraduates seperated themselves from several drinking societies within the social network of Cambridge. The Chameleon Club was formally known to the campus in 1983 when the school newspaper, The Varsity, ran a small column on an alleged collection of elite members. The club emblem is the chameleon turning back on itself to eat its tail and members are often known simply as "Charms-men". The Chameleon Club is the top of the "secrecy of membership," often bracketed with Yale's Skull and Bones.
According to a Cambridge University Student run newspaper article of February 23, 1983:
This society was established in 1723. It is rumoured to have location on Jesus Lane but members are known to enter through a back gate and no visitors or nonmembers are allowed on site.It is rumoured that the Chameleon Club allows no entrance through its front door in over sixty years and that all windows on the first floor have been built with false rooms. Its members are taken from the second years and are approched by a selected second year under the strict guidance of a senior member. The origin of its name is assumed to be taken on the fact that it is most likely a collection of top members from each of the societies on campus.
