The names Aidan, Braden, Caden, Hayden, and Jaden and their many variants are currently extremely popular in the United States. Authors Linda Rosenkrantz and Pamela Redmond Satran referred to it as a "millennial megatrend" in their 2007 book The Baby Name Bible. The popularity of each of these rhyming names has also been increased by the popularity of similar sounding names such as Aidan, Braden, Hayden, and Jaden. The New York Times noted the trend toward rhyming names such as Aidan, Braden, Caden, Hayden and Jayden in an October 12, 2007 article. The spelling Jayden was ranked in tenth place for baby boys born in New York City in 2006, but when the spelling variants Jayden, Jaden, and Jaiden were combined, it was the most popular name for boys in New York City in 2006. A Seattle Post-Intelligencer reporter noted the "rhymes with Aidan phenomenon" in a 2005 article.

Triggerslip is an alternative rock band that was officially formed in Coral Springs, FL in the year 1999. They started out as two brothers (Zach and Logan Lenz), Zach on guitar and Logan on drums. Then a family friend (Brandon) came along and started playing on the guitar and Zach took the vocals position. They clicked well together and all they needed now was a bassist; they found Mike and Triggerslip was born. The members of this band are now officially: Zach Lenz (Vocals), Logan Lenz (Drums), Brandon Singer (Guitar), Mike Starkman (Bass Guitar).
The band perfected a lineup of songs before they entered the studio in 2001. Throughout three days of hard work, the band's first demo was completed. The band then decided to start promoting by passing out demos. They started receiving a surprisingly overwhelming response to their first recording. They fed off of their early fan bases energy by playing a ton of shows in the local area and became well known in the South Florida music scene.
After continuous rehearsals and the addition of more songs, the band decided to hit the studio again and record a low-budget EP in early 2003. Much to their surprise, they found themselves recording their EP with the engineering support of Chris Carrol (Collective Soul, Creed's "My Own Prison"). The band perfected six ear-catching songs and began promoting their newly recorded self-titled disc. The EP sold over 2,500 copies in south Florida alone and proved to be a turning point in the bands overall success.
Triggerslip continues to play anywhere from 3 to 4 shows a month. Entertainment World has coined the band "The next big thing to come out of Florida."
Triggerslip released their debut full-length album "Bullets and Broken Promises" in 2007.
