The Mann model is from a climate change model led by Michael E. Mann, a climatologist now at Pennsylvania State University, that shows the link between CO2 levels and world yearly mean temperatures. It estimates climate trends by stitching together a grab bag of evidence, including variations in ancient tree rings and temperatures measured in deep holes in the earth. It is one of several climate change graphs that has a "hockey stick" profile.
It has a statistical flaw, caused by some flaw with the tree ring cores from which the graph is derived. (Tree rings contain a record of which years were warm and which were cold, as evidenced by the annual growth of the tree, i.e. the thickness of the ring).
On June 22, 2006, the study was endorsed, with a few reservations, by a 12-member panel convened by the National Academies, the U.S.' pre-eminent scientific body.

Communication is a course of study of how human beings interact with one another. Humans interact with one another through verbal communication (speech) and/or nonverbal communication (not spoken) to meet basic requirements for establishing a variety of relationships (Guerrero, Anderson, Walid, 2007). A NONVERBAL-VERBAL is a term associated with the discipline of Communication that deals with situations that have instances of subliminal messages in which require a higher level of consciousness to be able to interpret the meaning of a mesage (Bullock,2004). This can also be described as having to "read in between the lines" to find the meaning behind a message or action.
An example of a NONVERBAL-VERBAL would be a commercial before a showing of a movie at a movie theater. There is a box of popcorn dancing with a cup of soda having a great time. At first glance, it is just two characters with humanistic characteristics dancing about having a great time. Instead of using an advertisement to have people purchase their concessions before the movie starts, they use characters representing concession delights with human qualities to connect with the audience at a subconscious level. We are not consciously aware at first that our urge to get those goodies are actually triggered by a thought that is placed into our minds with out even knowing it (Bullock,2004).

Queer Justice League is a grassroots activist group dedicated to fighting homophobia and gender oppression. It was founded in New York City in 2007.
Queer Justice League grew out of a speech given by Larry Kramer on March 13, 2007 at the New York City LGBT Community Center. While speaking about the twentieth anniversary of ACT UP, Kramer called for a "gay army" of activists to respond to ongoing physical and institutional attacks on LGBT Americans. In the following weeks, individuals interested in enlisting in this army began organizing at the Community Center.
In its first few months of existence, Queer Justice League has conducted public actions in response to the homophobic remarks of General Peter Pace, to New York City Police Department harassment of queer and transgender youth at the Christopher Street Piers, to the cancellation of the Pridefest street fair during LGBT Pride weekend, to the illegal ejection of a butch lesbian from the Caliente Cab Company restaurant in the West Village, and to violently homophobic lyrics in reggae and dancehall music.
