e-Booking is a shortened form of the phrase 'Electronic Booking', and is in common use in Healthcare settings for the use of Information Technology systems to enable hospital appointments to be booked electronically.
It usually refers to the booking of an appointment into one service from another, e.g., from a Primary Care physician to a hospital. It replaces archaic methods of referral which can take a considerable length of time, and offer limited choice to patients.
E-booking is often used to refer to time critical purchases like hotel rooms and flights. A large number of small and large companies are allowing customers to book and pay for services online in order to increase revenue potential to cut back on high administration costs.
E-booking is also a term used in the public and academic sectors - see

Revolution Radio (sometimes referred to as Rev Radio, R-Radio, or RR) is an online streaming radio station created by David Carlascio on January 2006. The idea of the radio is to play Christian Rock music and spread the word of Jesus Christ.
History
In January 2006 David Carlascio decided to create an online Christian rock radio station. Using Yahoo! Launchcast, The station was called "David's Christian Rock Radio" or "David’s Rock Radio. The station would played popular Christian Rock, metal, worship and rap. David's friend Kyle Olar helped him to change the radio to Winamp Shoutcast. Shoutcast would allow David to actually broadcast live shows. David decided to change the radio name to "Revolution Radio". The site for the radio was a Freewebs site that wasn’t that great and the station didn’t get many listeners. ChristianMedia.ca helped by promoting the station, but that didn’t seem to make a difference.
In July 2007, friend Eric Moss decided he would make a professional website for the station. The site would be located at www.revolutionradio.uni.cc, and included forums, song request and an online shop. More and more people began to listen, and the Revolution Radio hit a record number of listeners.
It was around this time that Revolution Radio began to expand fast. The station started hearing from listeners across the United States and Canada. One of the things that attracted these listeners was when ChapStique and NaDaddy, from the band Family Force 5, actually agreed to record a radio promotion for Revolution Radio! Another was when Jesusfreakhideout.com, a very popular Christian music website, agreed to promote the station. Revolution Radio is still going strong, and hopefully will be able to continue to bring you the best Christian rock into the future.
