The Old Brewery was a commercial brewery established in 1832 in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. It was founded by Henry Bohle during the British colonial period. The brewery later changed ownership and was reopened in 1850 by John Mackinnon under the name Mackinnon & Co. It supplied alcoholic beverages to various establishments in northern India. The site of the former brewery is located near the Haathipaon area of Mussoorie.

The European Union diplomatic academy procurement fraud investigation, that began in December 2025 by the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), to investigate suspected fraud related to EU-funded training for junior diplomats. The investigation looks at possible violations of fair competition rules, including the unfair sharing of secret tender information with the College of Europe, which received the contract. Three people, including former EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, have been charged with procurement fraud, corruption, conflict of interest, and breaking rules on professional secrecy. The investigation led to the resignations of Stefano Sannino and Federica Mogherini.

Operations K and R (Czechoslovakia) Akce K ("Action K", short for Akce Kláštery, meaning "Monasteries Operation") and Akce Ř ("Action Ř", short for Akce Řeholnice, meaning "Nuns Operation"), were two coordinated Communist state clendestine operations conducted in Czechoslovakia during 1950. The twin operations were aimed at male and female Catholic religious orders, with the purpose of dismantle monastic life confiscate ecclesiastical property, and bring religious institutions under strict state control. Operation K took place on 13–14 of April targeting male monastic orders, while Operations R, targeting female monastic orders, was executed in two wave between July to September 1950.
