GITEX AI India is a technology conference and exhibition scheduled to debut in Bengaluru, India, in June 2027. It is part of the GITEX series of technology events organised in several countries. The event will focus on artificial intelligence, startups, data centers, quantum, semiconductor, biotech, health tech, intelligent cities and frontier technology sectors.
The first EDition is scheduled to be held from 2 to 4 June 2027 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
History
GITEX AI India was announced during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai as part of the expansion of the GITEX event portfolio into new international markets, including India and Brazil.
The event was launched amid growing international interest in India's technology and artificial intelligence sectors. At the time of the announcement, India was expanding investment in artificial intelligence research, digital infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing and startup development, while Bengaluru continued to be recognised as one of the country's principal technology hubs.
In 2026, international coverage of India's AI sector highlighted government-backed initiatives, infrastructure investments and industry partnerships aimed at increasing the country's role in the global artificial intelligence ecosystem.
