Des Renford Aquatic Centre, formerly known as Heffron Park Pool, is located in the suburb of Maroubra at the edge of Heffron Park, and caters for the local south-east Sydney community. It consists of a complex of both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a kiosk and shop. The centre is often host to swimming carnivals of local schools, and is the home of the Maroubra Swimming Club.
