Zoids Rebirth

The Tarka-Tomy's Zoids: Rebirth series is the seventh Zoids incarnation to be issued in Asia and went on sale in the September 2008 before being abruptly halted in March 2009. It appears the Rebirth series is cancelled, despite official word not yet released.
The official back story for the line is available in a flash based slideshow on their website, which can be read Here. It tells the story of the two main warring fractions, the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire; set between the official battle stories of the Original Japanese Release series and the New Japanese Release series.

Sub-lines
There were no Zoids: Rebirth sub-lines, though Tarka-Tomy had plans to release a larger scale, possible toy-like sub-line. At one point, there were concept drawings released to promote the Rebirth line, some of which featured larger scale Zoids. These featured a wheel-type, action-figure system; similar to the Fuzors Gravity Wheel Zoids. However, no further developments were seen.
Reception
The Rebirth series was been warmly welcomed by many Zoids fans, especially those whom were searching for the elusive King Gojulas. There have been negative views though, such as "The prices of the Zoids did more than double, and the problems seem to have been magnify by ten... It is really a bad thing..."
