ZipRecruiter.com is an online job distribution and job board service. The web-based platform aggregates applications from job boards and provides tools for applicant tracking and screening. It is a subscription-based SaaS for employers, recruiting firms, and staffing agencies. The job board search and application process are free for job seekers. History ZipRecruiter is a privately held company based in Santa Monica, California. It was founded in 2010 by Ian Siegel (CEO), Joe Edmonds, Ward Poulos, and Will Redd. The founders previously worked together in various combinations at CitySearch, Rent.com, Stamps.com, Pictage, and ThisNext. News and media Selected by Entrepreneur Magazine as 1 of 3 job-focused startups leading the way in 2012 In 2014, Siegel said in an interview on the company's growth "we're not raising money" yet ZipRecruiter raised $63 million in venture capital funding that year to build out its infrastructure. |
