Zaman Akhter

Zaman Akhter (born 2000) is an English first-class cricketer. Akhter was born in Cambridge and was educated at The Perse School, before going up to Oxford Brookes University. While studying at Oxford Brookes, he made a single appearance in first-class cricket for Oxford MCCU against Middlesex at in 2019. For his performances for Oxford MCCU and the Oxford Brookes 1st XI, Akhter was named Oxford Brookes' Sportsman of the Year in 2017 and also earned his cricket colours for the university. In addition to playing first-class cricket, Akhter has also played minor counties cricket for Cambridgeshire, starting in 2018. Notes and references <references group=notes/> |
