Zacarias Kara (born 18 May 2002), known professionally as Zac Kara, is a Canadian actor. He appeared on Season 4 of Masterchef Junior. He also appeared on Netflix's Grand Army. Early Life Zac Kara was born in Toronto, Ontario on May 18, 2002 and moved to Orlando at age eight. He played competitive junior tennis and decided to audition for Masterchef Juniorat the age of twelve. Career Kara first appeared on TV as a contestant on Masterchef Junior in 2015 He was eliminated as a semi-finalist with Pig Ear Frisee salad. He has also appeared on Masterchef Celebrity Showdown and Guy's Grocery Games. He was the youngest cook to compete in the 2017 Canadian Food Championships. He also hosted a pop up restaurant serving a nine-course menu. He opened Drippin Coffee in 2019. He starred in a short film, Kashif which was selected for the Young Creators Showcase at TIFF Next Wave. In 2020, at the age of seventeen, Kara appeared as Omar in Netflix series, Grand Army.
