Yves Hayat (born 1946) is a contemporary French artist. Biography Yves Hayat was born in Cairo. After the Egyptian Revolution his family left for southern France. From 1967 he studied art at the École nationale des arts décoratifs de Nice. In 1973, Hayat chooses to go into advertising and marketing, which led him to open his own agency. In 1996, he decided to return to art, becoming a professional in 2002. Yves Hayat lives between Paris and Nice, where his artist studio is. Since 2006, he has had several personal exhibitions in London, New York, Istanbul, Paris, Monaco, Cologne, Brussels, Geneva, Vienna, Mykonos, Kuwaït and Beirut. His work has been shown in many institutional places : Venice (Palazzo Bonvicini and The Thetis Founation Arsenale), Grasse (International Museum of Perfumery), Paris (City Hall and The Grand Palais), Montevideo (Alliance Française]), Vienna ().
