Your Party

Your Party is a United Kingdom political party which was formed at the beginning of 2004. The party is led by Dan Thompson. It aims to give people genuine power in the decision making process by using a form of direct democracy. As of 2008, the party seems to be inactive; no posts on the party's blog have been made since 2004, and their website is inaccessible.
Your Party stood two candidates at the 2005 general election, Chris Rowe in Banbury and William Givens in Southport, receiving 417 and 589 votes respectively.
According to accounts filed with the Electoral Commission, at the end of 2004 it had 1500 people on its mailing list and 228 registered members. It had income of £335 and £977 was expended on its behalf by Thompson.
The party was voluntarily deregistered in 26 April 2006.
