Young Kico

Karanveer Singh Sahota (born 29 October 1998), better known by his stage name Young Kico, is a British-Indian producer and YouTuber specializing in Trap, Drill, and Grime music. Kico is primarily known for producing for the South London-based rap group Section Boyz and many more urban acts. Kico also runs a successful YouTube channel in which he uploads his instrumentals.
Biography
Young Kico began his production career at a young age. He began experimenting with Image-Line's FL Studio software at the age of 11 until he learned the basics of the software and began producing complete instrumentals at the age of 14. Kico began uploading his instrumentals to online video platform YouTube, his channel quickly gained popularity and within six months Young Kico had 6,000 subscribers. Kico also practiced sending his instrumentals to prominent musicians via email, this resulted in him gaining placements with various musicians. Fetty Wap (Rapper of hit song "Trap Queen") was paid for a feature by New Jersey rapper Trilla Frenchie to collaborate on the song "Coca", the instrumental used was downloaded off of Kico's YouTube Channel. On the 10th of October 2014, Young Kico connected with Section Boyz on Twitter and within a month Section Boyz had recorded three songs with Kico. "They Doubted Me", "Don't Like That" and "Bando" were all released in 2015 via Link Up TV and on the group's mixtape . Young Kico also has worked with D.C Rapper Fat Trel on the song "Thot Breaker", this instrumental was a collaboration with New York-based producer "Hollywood Bangers". Kico also holds multiple Chicago artists on his portfolio including RondoNumbaNine (600), Lil Mister (Jojo World), FBG Duck, Prince Dre, I.L Will, New Ara and many more. He has also collaborated with the likes of Lex Luger, DeeMoney, CashMoneyAP, MPC Cartel, Smylez (Jojo World) and Dree The Drummer. Young Kico lists his primary influences towards his instrumental production as: Chief Keef, Young Chop, Zaytoven, for his Trap music, Skepta, Wiley, Jammer, Jme and Novelist for his Grime music.
